The growth of a city into a metropolis and perhaps into a megapolis has its inherent problems. As a city grows ion terms of opportunity and facilities it attracts both manufacturers and consumers, resulting in rise in real estate prices and prices of facilities like electricity, water supply and health facilities. The growth of a city is required to be done in a controlled manner without which environment, and available facilities are jeopardized.
